Marc Gurell was quoted in a December 23 story from Law360  entitled “4 Areas Of Retail Real Estate To Watch In 2016” on  how landlords are partitioning spaces due to big-box stores downsizing their leases as more business moves to the Internet. Gurell said the redesign of retail spaces to maximize the use of square footage will further fuel growth. The question, Gurell remarked, is whether the Fed's increase in rates will temper real estate activity.
