Paparelli Named to Daily Journal’s 2014 List of “Top Labor & Employment Attorneys

Angelo Paparelli, partner in Seyfarth’s Business Immigration practice in Los Angeles,was named one of the top lawyers in his field by the Daily Journal.

Highlighting his immigration practice, the Daily Journal explains how Paparelli’s work “is more art than science” while profiling his successful efforts to resolve a number of cases before the Justice Department’s Office of Special Counsel for Unfair Immigration-Related Employments Practices and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The Daily Journal also recognized Paparelli’s efforts in which he “won a rare O-1, or “Extraordinary Ability,” visa for a women’s health law expert. Most of those visas go to entertainers.” Paparelli said disputes concerning O-1 visas are rising, adding, “Why they’re trying to limit the entry of smart people into the country is beyond me.”
