Seyfarth partner Robert Milligan authored an article, “Worried About FTC Crackdown on Noncompetes? Start With Assessing Your Existing Contracts,” in Corporate Compliance Insights and its newsletter on February 22. Milligan said, in response to the FTC’s proposed ban on non-competes, companies should evaluate their use of restrictive covenant and trade secret protections agreements/policies (e.g., non-competes, nonsolicitations, and nondisclosures) and ensure that they comply with existing legal requirements.
