Rollout of New Benefits Programs Following Retail Chain Merger

Seyfarth’s Employee Benefits team helped a convenience retail company roll out all new benefit programs for 2023 that reflect a new benefit approach following the acquisition and  integration of another convenience store chain. The two chains each have thousands of employees through most states in the US. A large effort was undertaken to align and strengthen the new benefits platform that would bring these populations together. We assisted with the rollout, including the review and negotiation of contracts for more than two dozen new vendors over a short period of time to meet a January 1, 2023, go-live date.
