Seventh Circuit Holds That Amara Allows Recovery Of Money Damages Under ERISA Section 502(a)(3)

On June 13, 2013, the Seventh Circuit held that the Supreme Court’s decisionCIGNA Corp. v. Amara authorized an ERISA plaintiff seeking equitable relief under ERISA § 502(a)(3) to receive money damages in a fiduciary breach action.
