Seyfarth Ranked as One of Leading Law Firms for Attorney Attitude for Business Development

BTI Consulting named Seyfarth as one of the 44 Law Firms with the Most Attorney Business Development Enthusiasm in its annual survey.

BTI’s “Mad Clientist” blog published the rankings based on what it considers the five big influencers on attitudes towards engaging enthusiastic business development lawyers: personal motivation, how the firm talks about business development, access to watching rainmakers in action, care and feeding of the rainmakers and engaging less skilled and, often, more junior attorneys in the BD process.

“Firms celebrating business development have proportionately more BD enthusiasts than others,” BTI writes. “These firms spread the word widely about wins and pursuits and point to team wins,” adding that it takes time and energy to create the environment fostering BD engagement, but well worth the investment.”
