CHICAGO (May 13, 2013) — The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has awarded Seyfarth its prestigious 2013 Thomas L. Sager Award for the Midwest region, which recognizes law firms that have demonstrated sustained commitment to improve the hiring, retention and promotion of minority attorneys.

The award is named for MCCA board member Thomas L. Sager, senior vice president and general counsel of DuPont.

Seyfarth’s selection was based its proactive programs that address:
