Seyfarth Represents Adam America Real Estate and JW Capital Management in $180 Million Refinancing of Florida Student Housing Development

September 18, 2026 — Seyfarth Shaw LLP represented Adam America Real Estate and JW Capital Management in connection with a $180 million refinancing of Terrazul, a premier student housing community adjacent to Florida International University in Sweetwater, Florida.

Provided by Corebridge Financial, the loan refinanced the property's existing construction debt and generated cash-out proceeds for the joint venture. Completed in 2024, Terrazul is a 22-story, 1,201-bed student housing development that is currently 98% occupied and serves students attending Florida International University.
