LOS ANGELES (September 24, 2010) – Adding another veteran attorney to its Los Angeles office, leading full-service law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced the arrival of trusts & estates lawyer John T. Rogers, Jr.

Rogers, who joins as of counsel, is the latest addition to Seyfarth in Los Angeles. In recent weeks, the firm has welcomed appellate lawyer James Harris, labor and employment attorneys Dana Howells, Jeffrey A. Berman and Joan E. Smiles, along with intellectual property lawyer Alan M. Lenkin.

Rogers specializes in trust, estate, and conservatorship administration and litigation, as well as estate planning, alternative dispute resolution, and professional responsibility. He has served as an expert witness in a number of cases involving such issues as breach of fiduciary duty and attorney ethics and malpractice. He was previously a partner with Luce Forward. “Whether we are counseling entrepreneurs, high-net worth families, business owners, non-profits or individuals, clients come to us for the our intricate knowledge of trusts & estates issues and the personal approach we use for each client,” said, H. Debra Levin, chair of Seyfarth’s Trusts & Estates practice group. “John shares these same traits – a high regard for service and a deep understanding of the law.”
