Seyfarth Shaw Appoints Boston Office Associate Managing Partner

BOSTON (October 3, 2012) — Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today that Labor & Employment partner Ariel Cudkowicz has been named associate managing partner of the firm’s Boston office.

Cudkowicz will work closely with office managing partner Russell Swapp to help oversee the management and operations of the Boston office. Seyfarth has more than 70 attorneys practicing law in Boston in areas including labor and employment, commercial and securities litigation, immigration, intellectual property, trade secrets, loan workouts, foreclosures, bankruptcy, real estate, construction, and corporate and finance. The office is involved in a variety of community service projects, and it was recently the first corporation to be honored with the Best Buddies Spirit of Leadership award for its longstanding work with the organization, which helps empower those with disabilities through employment and leadership development. 

Cudkowicz’s legal practice focuses on employment litigation with an emphasis on wage and hour collective and class actions, complex single-plaintiff employment discrimination litigation and workplace counseling. He chairs the firm’s employment litigation practice group and is a member of the firm’s Whistleblower Team as well as the Hospitality and Retail industry teams. He also contributes regularly to the firm’s Wage & Hour Litigation blog.
