CHICAGO (May 10, 2011) — Seyfarth Shaw LLP Chicago partner Anita Ponder was recently named to Chicago Lawyer magazine’s eighth annual edition of “Chicago Women in Law.” This year the special supplement featured 12 women attorneys, honoring them for their impact on the Illinois legal community. Ponder’s selection is based on nominations received from the magazine’s survey of her peers and members of the legal community.

Ponder was lauded for her deep experience as “one of the state’s most accomplished lawyers” in the government contracts arena, as well as for her extensive involvement in the community, serving on “a litany of organizations and agencies throughout her legal career.” She was also praised as being a sought-after lecturer, having spoken to various corporations, businesses, bar associations and government agencies.
