Seyfarth Shaw Continues Corporate Growth with Addition in Houston

HOUSTON (July 14, 2011) — Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP is pleased to announce the addition of senior counsel Barry McFadden to the firm’s Houston office. McFadden joins Seyfarth’s Corporate Department from Landry’s Inc., where he was Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Prior to Landry’s, McFadden held the same position at ExpressJet Airlines, Inc., one of the world’s largest operators of regional aircrafts. McFadden’s arrival follows the recent addition of Houston office senior counsel Daniel Sternthal, also in the Corporate Department.

McFadden brings an array of legal and business experience. He has completed financing and convertible debt transactions, handled commercial real estate and leasing matters, asset acquisitions, mergers and divestitures, and is well-versed in governmental and regulatory matters in the U.S. and Mexico.

McFadden received his undergraduate business and law degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. He is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
