Seyfarth Shaw LLP Helps Put the Limited Resources of Children’s Charities Back to Work for the Kids

Festival of Children Foundation to Partner with Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Offering Pro Bono Legal Services to Children’s Charities

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is partnering with Festival of Children Foundation (FOCF) to offer pro bono legal services to children’s charities across the country. Available to member charities of Festival of Children Foundation, youth-serving non-profit organizations with annual budgets of $1 million or less are invited to apply for free legal counsel from Seyfarth on matters, including:

Corporate Governance
Tax-Exempt Status
Real Estate and Lease Issues
Human Resources
Intellectual Property

Launching in the summer of 2008, this will be an ongoing collaboration between Seyfarth Shaw LLP and Festival of Children Foundation.

Seyfarth is currently making itself available to FOCF member charities whose annual budgets do not exceed $1 million and operate within the following nine greater major metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

Festival of Children Foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of children by strengthening the charities that serve them. Pursuant to this mission, this program is designed to make the most efficient use of the charities’ and redirect them back to serving children in need.
