NEW YORK (September 6, 2011) — A multi-disciplinary team of lawyers from Seyfarth Shaw LLP successfully represented firm client, US Cable of Coastal-Texas, L.P., a cable operator providing television, high-speed Internet and phone services, in the sale of broadband systems serving, in aggregate, approximately 16,000 customers in Missouri to Charter Communications. Charter is a leading broadband communications company, and the fourth-largest cable operator in the United States. The transaction closed on September 1, 2011.

Leading the US Cable deal team for Seyfarth Shaw are Andrew Lucano and Stanley Bloch, both corporate partners with Seyfarth Shaw LLP in New York. Lucano and Bloch frequently advise on M&A transactions in the communications industry.
