ATLANTA (January 17, 2013) — Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw announced today that Jeffrey Cunningham has returned as a partner in the Corporate Department in Atlanta. Cunningham joins the firm from Foltz Martin, where he was a partner and leader of the firm’s Corporate practice and administrative matters. He was previously with Seyfarth from 2000-2008.

Cunningham specializes in ownership structuring, equity and debt financing, including private placement and institutional financing, entity qualification and licensing, and transaction structuring. He represents owners and operators of businesses, investment banks and private equity funds with respect to the acquisition, divestiture and operation of portfolio companies.

A former tax consultant at two of the Big Four accounting firms, Cunningham has a subspecialty in federal and state taxation, as well as nonprofit entity organization, qualification, compliance and operation.

Cunningham received his B.S. from Vanderbilt University, an M.B.A. from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business and a J.D. from Georgia State University.
