Seyfarth Shaw Welcomes Michael Zweiback as Partner in the Litigation Department in the Los Angeles Office
Los Angeles, CA (September 23, 2009)—Seyfarth Shaw LLP, one of America’s leading full-service law firms, today announced that Michael Zweiback has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office. Zweiback joins as a partner in the Securities and Financial Litigation, Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets Practice Groups. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, he was a partner at Alston & Bird LLP.
Zweiback’s practice focuses on governmental and corporate investigation, white collar criminal defense, environmental crimes, and privacy and data security matters. Prior to Alston & Bird, he was the chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles. Zweiback spent 17 years as a federal prosecutor before joining the private sector. During his tenure, he was primarily responsible for several high-profile investigations and prosecutions.

Zweiback earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice law in California.
