Quinn returns to Seyfarth from The Wagner Law Group, where she served as a partner in its ERISA, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice.

Quinn’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border regulatory matters, operational qualified and non-qualified plan compliance, M&A due diligence, executive compensation plan design, fiduciary standards, best practice corporate governance, and internal controls, among many other areas. Her clients comprise multinational and domestic corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, boards of directors, and tax exempt and not-for-profit entities in the areas of manufacturing, finance, banking, energy and utilities, technology, healthcare and life sciences, insurance, real estate, higher education, and philanthropy.

“Our employee benefits team is growing, and we’re thrilled to have a lawyer of Candace’s caliber rejoin the department,” said Diane Dygert, chair of Seyfarth’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation department.

Quinn has an extensive background at global accounting firms, including as a principal providing tax expertise in executive compensation and employee benefit plans. In addition, she conducted due diligence on project structure and tax equity renewable energy incentives on transactions for corporations, institutional investors, private equity funds, utilities and renewable energy developers.

“Candace was a well-respected member of our New York office and we are excited to have her back. Candace’s experience working from within an accounting firm offers a unique perspective that we can offer to our clients,” said Lorie Almon, co-managing partner of Seyfarth’s New York office.

Quinn earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, and her LL.M. in Energy, with honors, from Vermont Law School. She received a B.S., with honors, in Economics from Tulane University.

Quinn’s arrival demonstrates another important milestone in Seyfarth’s strategic plan to expand its transactional capabilities in New York and nationally. Last month, the firm announced the arrival of partner Paul Kruger to the Corporate department in New York.

Earlier this year, the firm announced the arrival of partner Jeffrey Bauer to the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation department in Chicago.
