SHRM Quotes John Mazzeo on Proposed E-Verify Requirements

SHRM featured Immigration counsel John Mazzeo in its August 13 article, “E-Verify Proposal Could Create New Compliance Burden.” The piece explores how a proposed federal rule could expand E-Verify obligations to a broad range of organizations receiving federal funding, including colleges and universities, healthcare systems, nonprofits, and state and local governments.

Mazzeo highlighted the compliance challenges organizations may face, saying:
