Stanley Jutkowitz to Moderate CREFC Webinar "Cannabusiness: The Business of Cannabis Real Estate"

Stanley Jutkowitz, senior counsel in Seyfarth's Corporate department, will serve as moderator for the CREFC webinar "Cannabusiness: The Business of Cannabis Real Estate" on July 12, 2022. Stanley also leads the firm’s Cannabis Law practice, and serves as editor of the firm's blog, The Blunt Truth, which addresses the legal and practical implications of cannabis laws across the US and their impacts on the business community.

This webinar is Part 2 of a series and will dive “into the weeds” on cannabis businesses and real estate. In Part 1 of CREFC’s series on state-legal cannabis, the panel discussed federal and state policy developments and the US outlook on legal cannabis.   

The unique place of state-legal and federally prohibited makes even basic questions on “how do I deposit cash” or “how do I do my taxes” more complex endeavors. This panel of practitioners in cannabis businesses will discuss the unique collection of risks, legal, compliance, market, etc., for owning, operating, or investing in cannabis-related real estate.
