The 9th Annual Securities Litigation & Enforcement Institute will be held live over two days via webcast sessions on Fridays, February 26 & March 19, 2021.

The 9th Annual Institute will be, in many ways, the most important one yet. The keynote address will be delivered on February 26th by Professor Joseph Grundfest of Stanford Law School Former SEC Commissioner). He will discuss “The Grundfest Solution” for problems stemming from the Cyan case, the implications of the forthcoming Goldman appeal, and the likely future direction of the SEC.

Greg Markel, Chair of Seyfarth’s New York Litigation group and Co-Chair of the firm’s Securities and Fiduciary Duty Litigation group, serves as the Institute’s Program Co-Chair. Greg will speak twice on February 26, first for the introduction and second as a moderator for the panel, “Securities Litigation Developments”. On March 19, Greg will moderate three panels, “D&O Insurance Rates, Issues, Trends and New Risks”,  "ESG and Diversity: A New World Beckoning?", and “In-House Counsel’s Concerns Regarding Litigation Risks and Role of Diversity in Choosing Outside Counsel”.

Gina Ferrari, partner and Co-Chair of Seyfarth’s California Litigation group, will participate as a panelist in the panel session, “The New Generation of Leaders in Securities Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement”.

Will Prickett, partner and Chair of Seyfarth’s Securities & Fiduciary Duty Litigation group, will participate as a panelist in the panel session “ESG and Diversity: A New World Beckoning?".

Seyfarth Partner, Daphne Morduchowitz, will present as well.
