The Firm’s successful work on behalf of client Motorola, Inc. in the Motorola v. Zafirovski case was featured in the “Big Suits” column of the January 2006 issue of The American Lawyer. The former CEO of Motorola paid $11.5 million to settle claims that he breached his employment agreement when he took a position with Nortel Networks Corporation, violating a non-compete clause in his employment contract and creating the potential for misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information.

As noted in The American Lawyer, the Motorola team was led by Chicago partners Michael Levinson, Christopher Paetsch and Michael Wexler, with Chicago associates Scott Humphrey, Kristin Rosella and Kirsten Wendela.
