More About Alexander

Alex helps employers solve some of their most complex workforce compliance challenges by translating legal requirements into practical, scalable solutions that align compliance obligations with business realities. He advises employers on workforce compliance, employment authorization, and government enforcement matters and is known for helping organizations move beyond identifying legal risk to designing compliance programs and operational strategies that work in practice. Alex regularly counsels employers of all sizes on Form I-9 compliance and remediation, E-Verify obligations, employment eligibility verification programs, immigration-related employment discrimination issues, workforce authorization challenges, and related compliance matters.

Drawing on extensive experience advising some of the world's largest employers, Alex helps clients navigate rapidly evolving regulatory requirements while balancing legal risk, operational realities, employee experience, and business objectives. He works closely with legal, human resources, employee relations, compliance, and business leaders to develop solutions that can be implemented consistently across large and decentralized organizations.

Alex frequently represents employers in investigations, audits, and enforcement actions conducted by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Justice's Immigrant and Employee Rights Section (IER), including matters involving Form I-9 compliance, employment eligibility verification, citizenship status discrimination, and related workplace compliance issues. He also advises organizations on internal audits, compliance assessments, governance frameworks, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

A significant portion of Alex's practice involves helping employers manage high-stakes compliance challenges arising from government investigations, mergers and acquisitions, workforce integrations, system migrations, and evolving immigration and employment laws. Clients value his ability to combine deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking, delivering practical recommendations that reduce risk, support operational goals, and can be implemented effectively across the organization.

Whether responding to a government investigation, designing a compliance program, or navigating a complex workforce challenge, Alex helps clients develop solutions that are legally sound, operationally practical, and aligned with broader business objectives.
