In law school, Cayla participated in Loyola’s Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic, where she worked directly with clients seeking bankruptcy protection. There, she conducted interviews, assessed financial situations, prepared petitions, and guided clients through the bankruptcy process. Cayla also joined Loyola Law Review as a staffer and was promoted to a research editor in her second year, where she led citation and source verification efforts and mentored other staffers.
