More About Christina

Employers look to Christina to help them through wage-and-hour law collective and class actions, employee misclassifications, and all phases of the litigation process. She also advises clients on day-to-day personnel matters and employment laws nationwide, and counsels clients on a wide range of employment matters. These include ADA and protected class accommodations, personnel and administrative policies and handbooks, discrimination avoidance, drug testing, FMLA and leave entitlements, retaliation, sexual harassment, termination, unemployment and post-employment benefits, wage-and-hour issues, and workers' compensation. Christina is also part of the subject matter expert team focusing on the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. She understands that businesses can't succeed unless they overcome all the legal obstacles.

Christina has extensive experience in numerous single-plaintiff cases involving discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation. She also has worked on traditional labor matters, such as labor arbitrations, collective bargaining, and administrative proceedings.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Christina had substantial experience working in management and human resources for a national political consulting firm. Having done this work, she understands the practical challenges that managers face when staying current with the constant changes to local, state, and federal employment law. Christina has coached managers to implement new policies and improve office culture to ensure a positive work environment that reduces the potential for litigation.

Christina's work with a wide range of labor and employment issues has allowed her to provide clients with practical and comprehensive advice. She has participated in the defense of high-stakes nationwide collective and class actions, and is familiar with the challenges at each stage of the litigation. Christina knows how to leverage Seyfarth resources and technologies to provide cost-effective legal advice and defense of litigations.

Christina appreciates that her Seyfarth colleagues are collaborative and highly knowledgeable in their respective subject areas. They help her get answers for her clients in a quick, cost-effective matter. In Christina's words, "It is great to work with colleagues who are leaders in the labor and employment field, and are passionate about labor and employment law."
