DeJa is committed to helping Seyfarth attorneys safeguard their clients’ reputations and their creative and technological assets at all stages. She assists her team with obtaining proper federal registrations and enforcing intellectual property rights.
Through clinics and other working experience, DeJa has collaborated with attorneys on a range of intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations, patent applications, copyright enforcement, and trade secret protection. She has also worked with attorneys who have represented the City of New York in commercial litigation disputes.
DeJa has a solid foundation in intellectual property law and commercial litigation. In law school, she was a legal intern for a global alcohol and beverage company, where she helped her team manage the company’s trademark portfolio. DeJa was also a legal fellow at Take Creative Control, where she worked with attorneys advocating for creators and small businesses to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights. Additionally, DeJa was a legal extern for the New York City Law Department, where she worked on complex litigation matters.
