More About Erica
Erica represents a diverse range of clients in the financial services, retail, health care, staffing, and aerospace industries in single-plaintiff litigation and administrative proceedings involving claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and related state laws. Erica serves as first-chair litigation counsel, guiding clients from initial investigations through depositions, mediations, dispositive motions, and resolution.
Earlier in her career, Erica managed a robust docket of single-plaintiff litigation while also defending employers in the retail, telecom, and oil & gas industries in nationwide collective wage-hour litigation, including misclassification and off-the-clock suits.
Before rejoining Seyfarth, Erica served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 retailer and, before that, a multinational industrial distributor, where she partnered with HR and business leaders to develop and implement practical, business-aligned strategies that minimized risk while supporting organizational goals. Erica drove the companies’ litigation and dispute resolution strategies and provided real-time advice and counsel on 50-state employment law compliance, workplace investigations, and risk management across all levels of the organizations. Erica also led cross-functional project teams to implement organizational initiatives.
Erica’s deep experience and legal acumen is punctuated by her creativity and tenacity in strategically steering employment disputes to a successful resolution. Her dual perspective as both outside counsel and in-house advisor enables her to deliver pragmatic, results-driven solutions for her clients.
