More About Hanna
Hanna advises and represents employers across a broad range of employment law issues, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. She works closely with clients to develop legal solutions that address their unique concerns.
She has significant experience defending employers against complex wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) collective actions in federal and state courts. She also has experience defending employers against group actions brought by government agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department and the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Hanna draws upon her prior experience as a litigator at a top-tier, multinational law firm, and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gina M. Hanna honed her skills for legal writing and research throughout law school, during which she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable George H. Wu of the US District Court for the Central District of California, and participated in Pepperdine’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Advocacy Clinic, where she successfully briefed and argued a case before the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
