More About Jeanette

Jeanette advises clients from various industries on how to prevent and resolve workplace disputes, assisting them in developing and updating workplace policies and providing workplace training. When litigation comes into play, Jeanette partners with clients to craft smart strategies and drive results that align with their legal goals.

In her practice, Jeanette focuses on wage and hour and EEO compliance and litigation defense. She regularly represents employers in single-plaintiff and class/collective actions involving a variety of employment-related claims. Her experience includes defending employers against claims for unpaid wages, off-the-clock work, religious discrimination, and retaliation. Jeanette helps clients navigate requests for religious accommodation, such as exemptions to workplace policies for religious reasons, modification of work uniforms for religious reasons, and time off to observe religious holidays.

When working with clients, Jeanette learns about their business and legal needs, so she can provide practical legal advice on employment-related questions, such as evaluating requests for leave or accommodation, and conducting workplace investigations. She digs into the facts of each client’s legal matter to come up with the right legal solution, whether it be a straightforward motion or a more novel approach that requires in-depth understanding of a complex legal issue.

A native Spanish-speaker, Jeanette uses her language skills to provide workplace trainings for employees and to assist with internal investigations.
