Katie assists attorneys with single-plaintiff, class action, PAGA, and wage and hour matters. She takes a holistic and preventative approach—identifying potential issues and developing tailored solutions.
During law school, Katie acquired a broad spectrum of legal experience. She served as editor of the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal and interned for Judge Clare Maier at the Contra Costa Superior Court, where she drafted rulings and observed a variety of complex civil cases. Katie also externed in the legal department of a biotechnology company, concentrating on CCPA and GDPR compliance for the company and its subsidiaries. In her last year of law school, Katie externed at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an international nonprofit that champions digital rights and internet civil liberties, working within the Privacy, Free Speech, and Creativity and Innovation practice groups.
