Laurel assists attorneys as they counsel their clients on how to navigate the intricate landscape of corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She focuses on transactional matters, helping attorneys find creative and lasting solutions to their clients’ unique legal needs. Her attention to detail ensures that all documentation is accurate, facilitating smoother deal negotiations.

In law school, Laurel served as an articles editor for the St. John’s Law Review and Journal of Catholic Legal Studies, reviewing and preparing student-authored articles for publication. Her role as articles editor sharpened her legal writing skills and provided in-depth knowledge of corporate law issues. Additionally, Laurel authored her own article entitled “From Sidewalks, Streets, and Parks to Social Media: How should courts apply the public forum doctrine in the digital age?” that was published in the St. John’s Law Review 97.2.
