More About Megan
Commercial real estate financings and investments—whether loan originations, restructurings, acquisitions, recapitalizations, or dispositions—require careful coordination, market insight, and efficient execution. Clients look to Megan to lead deal teams, manage moving parts, and keep transactions on track with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Megan represents capital markets and balance sheet lenders, including commercial banks, life insurance companies, debt funds, and other sources of private capital, in the origination, restructuring, participation, purchase, and sale of commercial real estate loans. Her experience includes mortgage, mezzanine, bridge, and construction financings as well as inter-creditor and co-lender arrangements. On the equity side, she advises institutional investors, family offices, developers, and operators in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, borrower-side financings, leasing, and development matters in all asset classes, including joint venture and preferred equity investments.
Prior to rejoining Seyfarth, Megan was a partner in the New York office of a large national law firm. Earlier in her career, she served on the transaction management team at a major lending platform, where she negotiated and closed fixed and floating rate loans for CLO and balance sheet execution and worked closely with origination, credit, capital markets, and asset management teams. She began her legal career practicing in New York City at several prominent law firms.
