More About Anthony

Anthony is a respected litigator and counselor with over a decade of practice focused on construction law. In every representation he takes on, Anthony’s goal is to learn his clients’ unique needs, understand their ideal outcomes, and craft the best legal strategies to achieve those outcomes. Anthony’s approach to advocacy starts with keeping his clients out of the courtroom and—when disputes are unavoidable—zealously advocating for them while in it. Anthony’s approach to counseling and transactional work stresses practicality, creativity, and efficiency.

Anthony has spent his entire career litigating complex construction and design disputes across the country. While he primarily represents general contractors and design professionals, Anthony has substantial experience counseling owners and developers on commercial, transportation, entertainment, and energy projects, which allows him to see the best arguments on both sides of any issue. Anthony’s representative matters cover the broad spectrum of problems that arise on construction projects. He has prosecuted or defended dozens of construction and design defects claims, delay and suspension claims, labor inefficiency claims, terminations for default, terminations for convenience, mechanic’s liens, bond claims, insurance claims, and bid protests.

Anthony has been published on construction law topics in the Briefing Papers, the American Bar Association’s Construction Lawyer, the Public Contracts Law Journal, the PileDriver Magazine, and other industry and trade publications, including the Construction Seyt—a blog that he founded in late 2018. Anthony frequently speaks on panels and webinars concerning hot topics in construction, particularly those that overlap with public procurement. Anthony’s thought leadership has earned him significant recognition, being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star (Thomson Reuters) (2016-Present); honored as a Recommended Attorney for Government Contracts in The Legal 500 (Legalese Ltd.) (2021-22); listed in Best Lawyers In America Ones to Watch in Construction Litigation and Construction Law (Woodward/White Inc.) (2022-Present); and honored as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (2023).

Anthony enjoys working at Seyfarth in a field that involves a tight-knit community of attorneys who really care about their practice and fight for the best and most economical resolutions for their clients.
