Intellectual property and trade secret concerns affect all ranges of clientele, from early startups to Fortune 500 companies. Startups in particular face imposing, unknown challenges when it comes to protecting their assets. Clients turn to Vince for advice and strategy in the areas of complex civil litigation, patent litigation, and a variety of intellectual property matters, as well as patent and trademark prosecution.

Vince's experience spans a wide range of technical areas, including pharmaceutical, chemical, biomedical devices, electronic devices, and business methods. He is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Vince makes it a point to tailor his advice and strategy to the needs of the individual client, as they can be very different depending upon where the client is in the growth curve. For example, he believes in picking up the telephone to get work done, but he realizes that different clients, particularly from different generations, work differently. He prides himself in being accessible and conducting his practices via all appropriate means.

Before joining Seyfarth as an associate, Vince was a law clerk in the Intellectual Property practice group, assisting in various aspects of patent, trademark, and copyright matters. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Warren D. Wolfson in the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.

Seyfarth gives Vince the opportunity to work on the full scope and range of representation, from large scale litigation to individualized counseling.
