AI Under the Legal Lens

Artificial intelligence is rapidly embedding itself across business operations, while the legal landscape continues to evolve without a clear or unified framework. As a result, organizations are confronting overlapping regulatory requirements and emerging litigation risk across areas such as employment, privacy, intellectual property, and vendor relationships.

AI Under the Legal Lens is a new webinar series from Seyfarth Shaw focused on helping legal, compliance, and business leaders navigate AI risk across the enterprise with practical and defensible strategies.

About the Program

As artificial intelligence becomes embedded across workplace functions - from hiring to performance management - employers are beginning to see a rise in employees citing religious objections to workplace use of AI. At the same time, evolving federal guidance and a growing patchwork of state laws are adding complexity to how organizations assess and respond to these requests.

Join us for a timely discussion as our experienced practitioners explore how employers can navigate religious accommodation requests related to AI while managing legal and operational risk. This program will provide practical insights into balancing compliance obligations with business realities in an environment where both employee expectations and regulatory frameworks are rapidly shifting.

Topics include:

  • Emerging trends in employee religious objections to workplace AI use
  • Structuring an effective interactive process for evaluating accommodation requests
  • Managing operational challenges where AI use is embedded across teams and workflows
  • Navigating evolving state AI laws, including notice, transparency, and opt-out requirements
