Seyfarth Shaw Immigration partner Angelo Paparelli is quoted in the January 29 edition of the Daily Journal in an article discussing a recent bipartisan announcement by Senate leaders regarding upcoming sweeping federal immigration reform legislation. The proposed framework covers several issues, and according to Angelo, “There are agreed-upon principles from eight senators, but there’s too much flux at this point” to draw any definite conclusions. He also cited the proposed plan’s requirement to move illegal immigrants to “the end of the line” when getting green cards and obtaining full citizenship as the most pressing concern.
