Ashley Jenkins to Present myLawCLE Program, “The Overlay Widget Trap in Website Accessibility Litigation”

Ashley Jenkins, an associate in Seyfarth’s ADA Title III & Public Access practice, will co-present a virtual program for myLawCLE titled, “The Overlay Widget Trap in Website Accessibility Litigation” on June 18, 2026.

This program will provide a comprehensive, two-sided litigation curriculum on ADA Title III accessibility overlay disputes, equipping attorneys to handle widget-related claims from both plaintiff and defense perspectives in the wake of the Federal Trade Commission’s April 2025 accessiBe consent order. Speakers will guide practitioners through overlay fingerprinting and targeting methodology, multi-jurisdictional claim stacking under federal and state accessibility statutes, vendor indemnification and crossclaim strategy, evidence preservation, and mootness architecture through manual WCAG 2.1 AA remediation.
