Bloomberg Law Quotes Andrew Scroggins on EEOC Leadership and Strategic Direction

Bloomberg Law prominently featured Andrew Scroggins in its recent article, “New EEOC Agenda Poses Hurdles for Big Law General Counsel Pick,” which examines Carter Crow’s nomination to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the potential impact on the agency’s priorities.

Scroggins provided insight into how the administration’s interpretation of “vulnerable workers” may shift enforcement strategies and influence organizational alignment across EEOC offices, noting, “there has historically at the EEOC been an emphasis on protecting the rights of vulnerable workers, or workers who maybe are not familiar with their rights under EEO law. And this administration has a different interpretation of what it means to be a vulnerable worker.”

Her further added that, “part of Crow’s job will be organizing field staff to align with the administration’s new goals.”
