Join All Abilities Group Member Shireen Wetmore for a discussion on Judith Heumann’s moving memoir, Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist, which takes us from her bout with childhood polio and fight to enter public school, to “crip camp,” the 504 sit-in, the long journey to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and beyond.

Being Heumann recounts Judy Heumann's lifelong battle to achieve respect, acceptance, and inclusion in society―and to just “be human.”
