Brett Bartlett Discusses DOL Shift Toward Deregulating Wage Policies in Law360

Law360 quoted Brett Bartlett in its article, “DOL Begins Deregulatory Approach To Wage Policies,” on July 9. Bartlett discussed the US Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division’s first move under President Trump’s second term, focused on rolling back existing wage and hour rules rather than introducing new ones.

“It's just become truly burdensome to try to find a way through all of the regulations and all of the interpretations and all of the subregulatory action. Eliminating some of this Byzantine regulation will make it easier for employers to comply with the law.”
