Brett Bartlett was quoted in a May 18 story from Bloomberg Law, “Retail Business Overtime Exemption Expanded Under New Rule.” Bartlett said fear of plaintiff litigation has caused many businesses to discount the retail and service exclusion as something not worth examining.
