Camille Olson to Appear On Behalf of US Chamber of Commerce at EEOC Public Hearing on Proposed Changes to EEO-1 Form
On Wednesday, March 16, Seyfarth Shaw LLP partner Camille Olson will appear before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in a public hearing on its proposed revision of the Employer Information Report (EEO–1) on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as chair of its equal employment opportunity policy subcommittee. The Chamber is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than 3 million businesses and organizations of every size, industry sector and geographical region.
On Feb. 1, 2016, under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the EEOC published proposed revisions to the EEO-1 Form to include collection of pay data. The notice requested public comments on the proposed changes by April 1, 2016 and stated that a hearing would be held.
