Seyfarth and Able Made® Collaborate to Host Champions of Change: Sport, Leadership & Lasting Impact
About the Program
This past Earth Month, Seyfarth and Able Made® brought together leaders from across the sports world to tackle a question every industry is facing: How do we design business structures that protect well-being while still driving revenue?
Professional sport offers a powerful case study. Leagues, teams, players, brands, and owners all operate under different structures, yet face the same pressures — grow revenue, stay competitive, and manage risk. What happens when we reframe sustainability as well-being? Does that shift how decisions are made?
Against the backdrop of North America hosting the World Cup, major league evolution, and a landmark period of WNBA expansion, this panel explored the intersection of impact, sustainability, and governance in sport — and what other industries can learn from it. At its core, this conversation asked: What structures truly protect long-term well-being when short-term incentives push the other way?
This event took place at the beautiful Etihad Park Experience Center at New York City FC Headquarters.
