“Calif. Pregnancy Rules Spur Workplace Accommodation Flights”

Seyfarth Shaw Labor & Employment partner Colleen Regan is quoted in a September 13 Law360 article discussing recent amendments by the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission to regulations regarding pregnancy disability leave, which are causing an uptick in suits against employers not providing proper accommodations.

According to Colleen, “The impact of these new regulations is to raise the educational level of everybody involved,” she said. “They let employees know what they are entitled to and let employers know what the rules are.”
