Dawn Solowey Discusses OPM’s Religious Expression Memo to Federal Agencies in SHRM

SHRM quoted Dawn Solowey in its article, “OPM Issues Religious Expression Memorandum to Federal Agencies,” on August 19. Solowey discussed how a recent memo from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has renewed scrutiny of how religious expression is managed in federal workplaces — and potentially beyond.

“In certain respects, the memo tracks existing EEOC [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission] guidance, but in others, it appears to go beyond prior guidance.”
