Edward Maluf was quoted in a May 2 story “Supreme Court Dives Into Copyright Fight Over Cheerleader Uniforms” from Forbes on Star Athletica v. Varsity Brands, a case determining where the functional design of a cheerleader uniform ends and the creative, graphic design begins, which the Supreme Court has decided to hear. Maluf said that what they’re going to do is come up with a test that can be used generally.
