International Employment Lawyer quoted Ephraim Pierre in its article, “New York to ban off-duty surveillance, employee microchipping,” on July 24. Pierre discussed how New York State lawmakers are considering a bill that could significantly restrict employers' ability to monitor their employees.

“The notice must be in writing or electronic format and must be acknowledged in writing or electronically by the employee as well as provide a physical notice in the workplace regarding workplace systems subject to monitoring.”
