Gerald Pauling and Denice Tokunaga Spotlighted as Forbes’ 2025 Best-in-State Lawyers

Seyfarth’s Executive Committee member Gerald Pauling and Denice Tokunaga, co-managing partner of the firm’s Seattle office, were recognized as Forbes’ 2025 America’s Best-in-State Lawyers.

This inaugural list recognizes top lawyers across all 50 states who are best equipped to meet a range of legal needs, including litigation, technology, transactional matters, employment, intellectual property, civil rights, M&A, and private equity.

Pauling was cited for Illinois and Tokunaga in the state of Washington.

Forbes compiled the list through “a rigorous, multi-stage process that involved researching, evaluating, and rating thousands of candidates nationwide.”
