Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon Name Seyfarth Shaw Partners to Top 100 List of the Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys

CHICAGO (June 20, 2011) — Seyfarth Shaw LLP is pleased to announce the selection of three of its partners, Lisa Damon from the firm’s Boston office and Camille Olson and Jeremy Sherman from the Chicago office, to the fourth annual Human Resource Executive magazine and Lawdragon top 100 list of “The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys.”

In addition, New York office partner and former member of the National Labor Relations Board Marshall Babson was named to the top 20 list for Labor, Los Angeles partner Angelo Paparelli was named to the top 20 list for Immigration and New York partner Edward Cerasia II was named to the new “Up-and-Comers” list. According to the magazine, the “Up-and-Comers” consist of labor and employment lawyers who are likely to break into the top 100 or specialized, top 20 lists soon.

The lawyers were selected based on criteria which included tenure, impact and importance of cases handled and influence among peers. Typical achievements of those named to the list include practicing for at least 20 years, holding leadership positions at their firms, winning important class actions or other impactful trials and belonging to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. More than 5,000 nominations were collected from a combination of Human Resource Executive subscribers and members of the Lawdragon database, and the finalists selected are said to represent excellence in their craft and profession and they have made the greatest impact in the previous year.
