Jason Burritt was quoted in a May 22 story from Law360 on how a newly issued U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services guidance clarified exceptions to a recent Administrative Appeals Office decision on H-1B work site changes, but could still cause headaches for consulting companies and employers whose workers telecommute. Burritt noted that his clients are concerned with site visits from the Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate. For instance, an employer may decide that an H-1B employee has only moved to a nonwork site, as outlined under the new guidance, but the FDNS officer may visit and begin questioning that analysis, he said.
