Josh Seidman Discusses Challenges Following End of NY COVID Leave in Law360

Seidman discussed that, while New York State's COVID-19 leave expires this month and pandemic-specific laws are being phased out, COVID-19 has left a lasting legacy—normalizing remote work and reshaping how employers and policymakers approach paid leave.

“It made a lot of employers understand the importance of tracking and paying attention to these developments, and also trying, in some ways, to be forward-footed with certain policies, in the sense of having maybe a more global national approach, rather than going at compliance location by location.”
